Welcome to my site

My name is Torbjorn Lundberg and work as a musician.
My main instrument is bass trombone.
I also play contrabass trombone and tenor trombone.

I was employed by Gävle Symphony Orchestra in 1992, and have had my daily basis there since then.
Before that I had a job at the Gothenburg Opera. (1989 – 1992)
I studied music at the Music Academy in Gothenburg between 1984 and 1990.
Head teacher on trombone was Ingemar Roos.
Before that, I went to high school at Södra Latin in Stockholm.
Trombone teacher at Södra Latin was Sven Larsson.

In addition to working in Gävle Symphony Orchestra, I have appeared with all professional Swedish symphony orchestras, Malmö Symphony Orchestra, Helsingborg Symphony Orchestra, Norrköping Symphony Orchestra, Stockholm Philharmonic Orchestra, The Swedish Radio Symphony Orchestra, Gothenburg Symphony Orchestra and Umeå Symphony Orchestra.
I’ve also worked, foe longer and shorter times, in several Norwegian orchestras.
Of course I am playing in a lot of other musical contexts.

I have written arrangements for various musical settings.
Several of my arrangements have been played by professional musicians.
I have also composed a few pieces of music.
